Givers serve others, helping them in the pursuit of their purposeful actions. Most individuals seek givers, even if they, themselves, are takers.

While performing actions as any of the six business archetypes, the giver archetype applies the five positive core values of integrity, commitment, persistence, teamwork, and communication in all actions. Givers are driven by the higher levels of desire: to serve and to achieve freedom from all desires for self.

Purposeful actions are actions of giving; they lead to happiness and fulfillment for all who are affected by the action. Purposeful actions in organizations lead to higher morale, improved productivity and sustained success.

The attributes of givers in various aspects of action and in different circumstances are provided, along with extensive case studies of individuals as well as organizations in the new book, “Purposeful Action: A New Framework for Leadership”

Play BrookMaster to see if you are a giver and learn how to avoid becoming a taker. Learn how to readily identify givers and takers.
