Third Principle of Leadership: Desire Motivates Purposeful Action

The currents in the water represent the four levels of desire (Lust, Wealth, Service and Freedom), which dictate your value system. Purposeful actions are driven by the desires of giving.

As a leader, if only the levels of desire of taking are present, you will not keep followers because they will get tired of your selfishness.

When the levels of desire of giving are achieved, you will be an effective servant leader.
